Stainless Steel 904L Seamless Pipes consist of high chromium (19–23%), nickel (23–28%) content along with additions of molybdenum and copper, which increase corrosion resistance in aggressive environments like sulfuric and phosphoric acid. These pipes have an austenitic structure and superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength between 490–710 MPa and yield strength of approximately 220 MPa. They show superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. 904L pipes have strength and toughness at higher temperatures and superior weldability and formability without losing corrosion protection.
