Stainless Steel 347 and 347H Welded Tubing are niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels containing 17–20% chromium and 9–13% nickel. Grade 347 is heat-treated to prevent intergranular corrosion when being welded and exposed to high temperatures, while 347H has a higher carbon level up to 0.10% to improve creep strength and mechanical properties at high temperatures. The welded tubes provide tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and yield strength of approximately 205 MPa. They exhibit superior oxidation resistance and heat stability to 900°C with maintaining excellent weldability and formability.
