Stainless Steel 347/347H Seamless Tubing is a niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy with a chromium content of 17–20% and nickel content of 9–13%. Grade 347 offers resistance to intergranular corrosion when in and after welding, whereas 347H has increased carbon content up to 0.10% for better creep strength and longevity in elevated temperature service. These seamless tubes have a tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 205 MPa. The seamless structure increases pressure resistance, provides a smooth internal finish, and ensures consistent performance up to a temperature of 900°C.
